Terra Nova testing is next week, March 27th-31st. Students will be testing each morning. Any student arriving to class after 8:15 a.m. will need to wait in the office until there is a break in the testing process. They will then need to make up the missed portion at a later in the week.
Tips to help your student be successful:
Have them eat a healthy breakfast, high in protein. This would not be a good week to have donuts for breakfast.
Provide a healthy lunch.
Make sure they go to bed early and get 8-10 hours of sleep each night.
Send them to school with a water bottle (preferably with a sports cap.) Students will take frequent water breaks in the classroom. No juice is allowed.
Make sure that they are on time for school. We do not want them to be rushed as they arrive. This gives them time to get settled before testing.
Encourage them to do their best. Please do not stress about the testing. This is simply an evaluation tool; it does not determine if a student advances to the next grade.
